Miss Castillo

Welcome 4th grade parents!

I am so excited to begin my teaching career with the Hephatha family. I was so blessed to have had the past year of student teaching and substitute teaching here at Hephatha blossom into this incredible opportunity to work with you and your students.

I grew up in Claremont, CA with my parents and 2 siblings. I was raised in the Lutheran church, but did not have the chance to experience the private school setting until college. I attended K-12th grade in local public schools and continued my education at Concordia University Irvine. At Concordia, I studied Liberal Arts and dove deeper into Lutheran theology, as I planned to serve at a Lutheran school. It has been an amazing journey getting here, and I can't wait to see how I will learn and grown in faith alongside your students in this wonderful Christ-centered setting.

My hope for this year is to foster your child's love for learning and encourage them to take responsibility for their own education. I aspire to create an inclusive and positive environment for my students where they feel safe to be curious and enjoy coming to school each day. I pray that their knowledge of truth through Christ Jesus grows and their faith becomes stronger as they experience the love and grace that God provides each day within the classroom.

Blessings,

Miss Brianna Castillo
